A winters respite

It’s that time of the year again.
The coldness, that’s slowly creeping in on us like a dark shadow in the alleyway and takes us by surprise with it’s freezing wind and fogginess, is back.
Summer is gone. Days on the beach and hot summer nights are long forgotten. In its place are thoughts of homeworks, part-time jobs and new friends.
Memories of this summer is kept in a secret place in the back of our minds. Memories that are waiting for the spring to come, longing for another summer spent with our loved ones.
Crazy right?
How our mood can change with the seasons? Just like the leaves on a tree, slowly falling away. Waiting patiently through dark winter nights just to see spring and summer all over again.
